With immediate impact from the first hit, ‘We Got It’ is the new single from Bronx producer Ray West & MC, Nelson Dialect. The production blends a mellow jazzy sample & hard hitting drums that for producer Ray West, who is renowned for his alternative percussion and stripped back numbers, highlights his ability to maneuver any sound chamber with ease. The smooth vocal delivery & witty punchline filled verses from Nelson Dialect make this a standout song from the pair. On the memorable chorus Nelson says “roll a spliff on a Funkadelic cover”; a pastime many record collectors would have done once in their lifetime. ‘We Got It’ has an accompanying playful music video which takes place in a news report in 90’s post Soviet Russia about a man with telekinetic and psychic abilities.
